What is Hospice?
Hospice offers compassionate care and comfort to people at the end of life, along with education and support to family members. Everyone’s concerns are unique, and care may address nursing, emotional health, or spiritual needs. It may also include visits, music, massage, listening, and providing resources.
Hospice care brings hope to help people live life as fully as possible, offers dignity when there is not a cure, and surrounds families with love at one of life’s most challenging times.
The care we provide is unique to each patient, and may address nursing, emotional health, or spiritual needs. Complementary therapies and special programs at Rice Hospice include grief counseling and support groups, music, healing touch, massage therapy, Canine Care for the Journey, and our Sentimental Journey program.
